GRE Workshop (October 19, 2013)

Pi-Electric was an event of its 1st kind ever organized by any society in PIEAS, employing the Mathematics, Digital logic designing and Programming skills of the participating students. It was a 2-day event (19-20 December, 2013)and comprised of:

Leibniz of PIEAS

An Integration/ Differentiation/Modelling based mathematics test- as is obvious from the name. About 30 students participated on individual basis in a written test of 90 minutes.

Innovate to Win

About 12 teams (2 members/ team) participated in a logic based IQ test comprising two rounds:

Round 1 (40% credit): based on simple logical questions.

Round 2 (60% credit): based on logic design problems.

Programmer-X

About 12 teams (2 members/ team) participated in a C++ programming competition consisting of intense programming skills demanding C++ problems.

The prize distribution ceremony was held a week after. Dr. Haroon-ur-Rashid as the Guest of Honor.
