Course Structure
For the programs of Masters in Process and Mineral Resource Engineering, Department of Chemical Engineering offers a wide range of core and optional course. In recent reformulation of course structures, course work of MS Process Engineering and Mineral Resource Engineering has been brought in line with the recommendations of Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Accordingly, a minimum of 25 credit hours of course work is required to earn MS degree in Process and Mineral Resource Engineering.
In addition to coursework, MS thesis research of 12 credit hours (two semesters) is mandatory for MS Process Engineering students. For MS Mineral Resource Engineering 6 credit hours of Industrial Attachment and 6 credit hours of thesis research are compulsory.
