PhD Materials Engineering
PhD in materials engineering includes course work, qualifying exams and an original research work on a topic of choice in nuclear engineering. PhD thesis requires an international review and publications in reputed journals. At present various PhD scholars are conducting their doctoral level research in various fields of nuclear engineering in the department.
MS Materials Engineering
A five-semester (24 months) full time M.S. program covering various aspects of Materials Engineering. The emphasis is on the practical applications of materials science and engineering towards national engineering needs. Areas include materials characterization, alloy development and phase control, composites, polymeric and ceramic materials and their synthesis, material production processes.
